Amnesty
day was a great success even though it was very cold.. Not a good day
for reptiles to be outside. JHS was well represented with 16 members
attending. There was a large array of animals being turned in that
included, large parrots, sun conure, cockatiel, sugar glider, skunk,
marmoset monkey, many iguanas, a water dragon, many tortoises,
a rat
snake, many red-eared sliders, many geckos, a yellow anaconda and a few large pythons
and boas. Upon arrival each animal was Vet checked and taken to a
warm location to wait for the adoption possess. At the end of Amnesty
day all the people that had filled out adoption forms had a chance to
adopt these animals and give them a good home. Many of the members of JHS adopted many of these animals
