We had a great time om the St. Augustine Alligator Farm field trip. The JHS
had 26 members that went on our field trip. We had a special tour guide
that took us around to a lot of places that no one else gets to see. We
even got to see a baby crocodile being born and then microchipped. We
got to see a lot of the reptiles that were in the back room that are not
on display. They are breeding some of these special reptiles.
The swamp was being drained and you could really see just how many
alligators are in that swamp. They also had to go in the swamp and
check all the alligators to make sure their chips are still working and
count them all. I definitely would not want that job. Check
out the pictures below. |
