February Meeting

Our speaker for our February meeting was Dr. Ivan Alfonso from Orlando. He had a great PowerPoint presentation on reptile parasites. There are so many parasites that our reptiles can have and in high numbers can be deadly.
Dr. Alfonso was asked by National Geographic to go to Puerto Rico for
a week to do a show on the invasive species in Puerto Rico. He
said they caught many invasive species as well as many of the reptiles
from there. National Geographic will be contacting him when the
show will be aired.
