At our July meeting we had the honor of having Vic Morgan speak about his years of working with the rare Burmese Mountain Tortoise. Vic Morgan has served 3 terms as President of the Jacksonville Herpetological Society. He has been breeding and raising the black and brown Burmese Mountain Tortoise for many years and is a key factor in keeping these very rare tortoises Alive. Just a few weeks ago he presented this presentation to a group of Herpetologist in San Diego, California. This was a great meeting that everyone enjoyed. photos by - Mike |
