MVP- June 12,  2010
(Museum Volunteer Program)

We had a great time at MVP Saturday.  Rob and I both were taking photos so there's a lot of pictures.  There were 15 JHS members that brought their favorite reptile out for all the visitors at the MOSH to see and enjoy.   The kids were so excited to see live reptiles up close and to be able to touch and hold them.  The MVP is a great opportunity for our Herp Society to educate the public about reptiles.  I, myself, always enjoy being a part of the MVP and I would like to invite more members to come out and bring their favorite reptiles and join the fun!  The MVP is the second Saturday of each month from 10 AM until 3 PM. Come anytime you can and stay as long as you want. I know you will enjoy it! Bring whatever you like or nothing but yourself.  You can always be of help just talking to the museum visitors.  PLEASE, NO VENOMOUS ANIMALS!

We must keep this program alive.   It is an excellent way to promote our society and to educate the general public about reptiles.  Please do your share and attend a few MVP days each year.
