July MVP & Tonca's Birthday 2010

Tonca, the Museum of Science & History alligator snapping turtle, turned 44 on Saturday the 10th. He had cake for all of his friends, lots of games and even a quick visit from his veterinarian, Dr Rossi. He was removed from his pond with the help from members of the Jacksonville's Herpetological Society. Tonca was weighed and had a check-up by Dr Rossi which he passed with flying colors. He weights 138 pounds now and  is back in his home pond.
