How long have you had Herps? 2 years

What got you started keeping Herps in your home? I went to a reptile expo in Indiana when I lived there and it was really cool, ended up coming back the next time to get my first herp of my own, not just as a family pet as a kid.

What have been your favorite reptiles to keep? Snakes! I started out with lizards and ended up falling in love with snakes.

If you could have any Herp you would want, what would it be?  If I went through all the processes and had the space, I'd have an alligator. They're beautiful animals and so different.

What famous Herp person would you like to meet?  Steve Irwin was an amazing man. I don't know many herp people yet so I'd have to say Steve Irwin.

If you could go herping anywhere, where would you go?  Australia

What is your most memorable moment spent with Herps?  The night when I got my first snake. I got a ball python, and had brought it over to show my mom. I needed to go to the bathroom.. I'd waited, but I really had to go. He was all curled up so I set him on the couch and ran to the restroom. In the few minutes I was in there, he'd crawled between the couch cushions and got inside the couch. My mom said he started going and she sure wasn't going to touch him! So two hours later, we decided to just cut through the bottom of our 15 year old couch because we weren't gonna wait on him to come out. It was just a funny first experience to have.

What has been the favorite show that you have done?  I haven't done any shows.

Do you have other pets?  Yes, we have cats as well.

Do you have time to do anything else? Yes. I only have one snake right now, and I'm looking into different breeds to get another here soon.
