Brief Life History: I grew up in Michigan working construction mostly and just recently (7/1/05) moved down here to Florida to attend school in Orlando .  My love for reptiles started as a kid, I was always curious and fascinated about them so I was always off  looking  for snakes at all times any chance I had.  Unfortunately being in Michigan I was limited on time and species. Out of the 18 native species of
snakes in Michigan I have been lucky to find 12 of them, and my favorites being The Fox snake, Blue Racer and the Eastern Massasauga Rattlesnake. Now being here in Florida I’ve been in Reptile heaven Some of my favorites are the Fl. Cottonmouth, Corn Snake, Scarlet King Snake. While in Orlando I was fortunate enough to start on my Venomous Snake license  and also worked with the Central Florida Herp. Society's Snake rescue. Now that I’m finished with school I can really focus on the Jacksonville Herp. Society and help in any way I can

Primary herp interests: Snakes

Why did you join the JHS and what do you want to get out of your membership?  I  joined because of my love of reptiles and because I want to make a difference in the way of reptile education

What has been your favorite JHS experience?  The gift exchange at the Christmas party and  MVP at the MOSH
