Brief Life History:  Born in Alabama, moved to South Carolina at 1, stayed there till 9, moved back to different town in Alabama until 13. Father passed away from Cancer... moved to  current location that year. Always had pets of some kind, mostly dogs and fish, but every now and then we would rescue a native snake.
 

Primary herp interests:  I enjoy keeping them as pets and spreading the word that snakes are worthy of our respect and that they are not evil as some people would have you believe.
 

Why did you join the JHS and what do you want to get out of your membership?  I joined the herp society to find other people with similar interests, not that many places around that cater to snake lovers.
 

What has been your favorite JHS experience?  It's all pretty cool to me, but so far the rescue has been the most fun.
