What do you do for a living? Run the house.  Raise snakes, mice, and sell aspen.  Hoping to become a full time Harlan Teklan dealer in this area.

How long have you had Herps?  Since I was around 4 years old.  Had a cute little turtle in Japan.  Longest I’ve had a reptile has been 14 years.  My  snake is around 16 years of age- named Hatchet.  Very slender body 4 ft classic corn snake.

What got you started keeping Herps in your home?  My brother wasn’t able to take care of his snake.  I actually just moved into my first house and decided his snake needed a girlfriend.  Wouldn’t you know it-  Hatchet wouldn’t breed with his girlfriend so then I got a bunch more snakes.  It made sense at the time. lol

What have been your favorite reptiles to keep?  Honduran milk snakes and Corn snakes.

If you could have any Herp you would want, what would it be?   Black Indigo and for non-herp Giant African Pouched rat.

What famous Herp person would you like to meet?   Jack Hanna-  I know he’s not exactly Herp.  But … he occasionally has some big snakes around.  I missed meeting him at one of the expos a few years ago in Jacksonville.

What is your most memorable moment spent with Herps?  I think its always funny if your thinking of someone and they come into the room right after their name has been mentioned.  This happened when I was looking for someone to breed my Black Mexican King snake to.  I ended up meeting Marine about 2 minutes after her name had been mentioned.  The funniest bit was that she hadn’t been to any meetings in nearly a year.  Talk about timing.

What has been the favorite show that you have done?  I’ve enjoyed going to my first Daytona Show last year.  There where so many animals there it was mind boggling.  Sometimes you had to get into line to go ANYWHERE- and there weren’t any rides.  Seeing the new things on the market and seeing some of the prices-  brought both tears and laughs.

Do you have other pets?   2 Rats, 4 Cats, 2 Dogs.  Thinking maybe about getting a hedgehog or ferret- maybe some more rats.
