Brief Life History:
I have always loved nature.  I was a boy scout as a kid and camped a lot with my parents as well. I have always liked reptiles but mom would never let me have one. I guess I put my reptile interest on the back burner until I had sons of my own. I was shocked to come home 1 day to find that my wife had brought home a snake. My oldest son wanted a snake so my wife brought one home that she found which needed a home. That was the beginning.  Since then we have brought home many rescued snakes. I have even bought a milk snake and king snake for myself.  Our zoo has grown to 26 snakes and a few geckos as well as a Cuban tree frog. I am lucky, I get  to share my love of reptiles with my family.

Primary herp interests:  I guess my primary interest is in king snakes and milksnakes. But we have a few corn snakes that I like too. One day I would like to get into breeding.

Why did you join the JHS and what do you want to get out of your membership?  I joined so I could meet other people with my same interests. I am hoping to get a lot of experience with reptiles from the other members of the group. Also the more voices we have, the stronger we are.

What has been your favorite JHS experience?  I like MVP at Mosh. We haven't been in the group long so I don't have much experience with the different activities yet.
