What do you do for a living? School district painter, handy man expert, all the crap nobody else wants to do!

How long have you had Herps?  11 years since I started being passionate about keeping them but have had them off and on most of my life.

What got you started keeping Herps in your home?  I had a friend contact me with 11 different carpet, ball pythons, boas and some others - all adults and 4 gravid that he couldn’t keep and gave them to me cages and all.  A few months after I had a whole house full of babies as well.

What have been your favorite reptiles to keep?  My Jungle Carpet Pythons.

If you could have any Herp you would want, what would it be?  Would love have a Blackhead Python and an Angolan Python. They are both beautiful snakes and easily handled.

What famous Herp person would you like to meet?   Missed him. Steve Irwin was the man in reptiles. In my contacts of doing the repticon shows and others I have met some of the founders in this hobby such as Bill and Kathy Love, 2 of my favorite people.

If you could go herping anywhere, where would you go?  Australia would be the 1st choice, or  Africa and also South America.

What is your most memorable moment spent with Herps? I was able to spend a lot of time with my daughter, Tia, while she was just growing up doing shows just me and her. She would stand at the table while I would go out looking at other tables and when I got back she had usually sold something. She was only 7 then and could give you a pretty good rundown on ball python genetics. Oh yea, she is a teenager now. And that’s why I am going gray!

What has been the favorite show that you have done?  I love doing the Repticon shows.

Do you have other pets? 1 cat that’s supposed to be Tia’s. I want a dog soon.

Do you have time to do anything else?  Time!?!? I do ride my MC and try and get out for some other things but Herps rule my life.
